TrollInstallerX

Medium

The most common modern installer. Uses the kfd exploit. Slightly involved setup but reliable across a wide range of devices.

Permanent iOS 14.0 - 16.6.1 (A9X+) / 17.0 b1-b4 (A10X) Computer required
  1. Download the latest TrollInstallerX.ipa from the official guide linked below.
  2. Install PlumeImpactor on your computer; on Windows, install the non-Microsoft-Store iTunes first. Sign into PlumeImpactor with your Apple ID.
  3. If you're on iOS 16+, enable Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Developer Mode.
  4. Drag TrollInstallerX.ipa into PlumeImpactor and click Install. Trust the dev profile under Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management.
  5. Open TrollInstallerX, tap Install, and pick any system app for persistence (Tips works fine). Wait for the exploit to finish.
  6. If on certain iOS 16 builds, re-open the persistence app once and tap Install TrollStore again. TrollStore now lives on your home screen.
  7. Open TrollStore, tap the IPA download button at the bottom of this page, then tap Open in TrollStore -> Install.

TrollHelperOTA

Easy

The only fully on-device method. Tap a link in Safari, confirm the install, done. Limited to a narrow iOS window.

Permanent iOS 14.0 - 15.6.1 (A12+) / iOS 15.0 - 15.6 b3 (A11-) iPhone only
  1. On your iPhone, open Safari and head to the official guide linked below.
  2. Tap the Install TrollHelper link on the guide page. Safari will prompt to install a configuration profile - confirm it.
  3. Approve the install via Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management if asked.
  4. Open the newly installed GTA Car Tracker app on your home screen.
  5. Tap Register Persistence Helper, then Install TrollStore. Wait for it to finish (~30 sec).
  6. Open TrollStore, tap the IPA download button at the bottom of this page, and install.

TrollInstallerMDC

Medium

Uses the MacDirtyCow kernel bug to overwrite the Tips app. Stable on 15.x / early 16.x.

Permanent iOS 15.0 - 15.7.1 / 16.0 - 16.1.2 Computer required
  1. Make sure the stock Tips app is installed. If you've deleted it, re-install from the App Store.
  2. Install PlumeImpactor on your computer and sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. If on iOS 16, enable Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Developer Mode.
  4. Drag the latest TrollInstallerMDC.ipa into PlumeImpactor and click Install. Trust the dev profile under Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management.
  5. Open TrollInstallerMDC, wait for it to report the Tips binary was replaced.
  6. Open the Tips app and tap Install TrollStore. Open TrollStore, install the persistence helper, then install userinfo.lol from the IPA link below.

TrollMisaka

Medium

Keyboard-extension-based injector. Wide iOS coverage but needs a couple of extra Settings toggles.

Permanent iOS 14.0 - 15.8.6 Computer required
  1. Make sure the stock Tips app is installed.
  2. Install PlumeImpactor on your computer, sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Drag the latest TrollMisaka.ipa into PlumeImpactor, click Install, trust the dev profile under Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management.
  4. Add TrollMisaka as a keyboard: Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Keyboards -> Add New Keyboard -> TrollMisaka, then toggle Allow Full Access.
  5. Bring up Spotlight Search (swipe down on the home screen), switch to the TrollMisaka keyboard, and tap to inject the TrollStore Helper.
  6. Open the helper, tap Install TrollStore, then install userinfo.lol from the IPA link below.

TrollRestore

Medium

Backup-restore based. Covers the widest 16.x / 17.0 range. Recommended for newer iOS versions.

Permanent iOS 15.2 b3 - 16.6.1, 16.7 RC, 17.0 Computer required
  1. Install Python 3 on your computer (Mac, Linux, or Windows).
  2. Download and extract the TrollRestore executable for your OS.
  3. Connect your iPhone via USB and trust the computer.
  4. Run ./trollstorehelper from the extracted folder. When prompted, pick a system app to overwrite - Tips is the safe default.
  5. The device will reboot. When it comes back, open the injected app and tap Install TrollStore.
  6. Open TrollStore, install the Persistence Helper from Settings, then install userinfo.lol from the IPA link below.

LiveContainer tip

Get a real home-screen icon for userinfo.lol

If you're using LiveContainer to run sideloaded apps, you can give userinfo.lol a proper home-screen launcher in seconds:

  1. Open LiveContainer and install the userinfo.lol-main.ipa from the download button below.
  2. On LiveContainer's main screen, tap and hold userinfo.lol.
  3. Pick Add App to Home Screen, then choose Create App Clip.
  4. iOS adds a tappable icon on your home screen that opens userinfo.lol directly through LiveContainer. No more digging through LiveContainer first.

Temporary sideloading

Works on every modern iOS. App expires every 7 days on a free Apple ID and needs to be re-signed.

AltStore (recommended)

Easy

Refreshes the app automatically over Wi-Fi as long as AltServer is running. Best of the temporary options.

Re-signs every 7 days iOS 14.0+ Computer required
  1. On a Mac or PC, install AltServer from altstore.io. On Windows you'll also need iTunes and iCloud from Apple (not the Microsoft Store versions).
  2. Launch AltServer. On Mac it lives in the menu bar; on Windows, the system tray.
  3. Plug your iPhone into the computer with a cable. Trust the computer if prompted.
  4. Click AltServer in the menu bar/tray, choose Install AltStore -> your iPhone, and sign in with your Apple ID. A free Apple ID is fine.
  5. Unplug. On the iPhone open Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management and trust your Apple ID profile.
  6. Download the IPA from the buttons at the bottom of this page on your iPhone (saves to Files).
  7. Open AltStore, tap My Apps -> +, browse to userinfo.lol-main.ipa, tap it. Wait 30-60 seconds for the install.

Sideloadly (one-shot install)

Medium

Use this if AltStore doesn't work for you. No AltServer process to keep running - just plug back in every 7 days.

Re-signs every 7 days iOS 13.0+ Computer required
  1. Install Sideloadly on Mac or Windows.
  2. Download the IPA from the buttons at the bottom of this page to your computer.
  3. Plug your iPhone in, open Sideloadly, drag the IPA into the Sideloadly window.
  4. Enter your Apple ID and tap Start. If 2FA is on, generate an app-specific password.
  5. On your iPhone, trust the developer profile under Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management.
  6. Launch the app. Re-run Sideloadly every 7 days to extend the signature.

SideStore (auto-refresh, no PC after setup)

Medium

A fork of AltStore that uses a WireGuard tunnel for refresh, so you only need a computer for first-time setup. After that the app re-signs on its own as long as SideStore can reach its servers.

Re-signs every 7 days (automatic) iOS 14.0+ Computer for first setup only
  1. Follow the SideStore setup guide. You'll install SideStore via AltServer once, generate a WireGuard pairing file, and import it into the iOS WireGuard app.
  2. Once SideStore is on your home screen, you no longer need the computer.
  3. Download the IPA on your iPhone using the button at the bottom of this page.
  4. Open SideStore -> Apps -> +, pick userinfo.lol-main.ipa from Files, and let it install.
  5. SideStore handles 7-day re-signs in the background automatically.
Heads up: Android lets you install apps from outside the Play Store with no sketchy tools. You'll need to allow your browser to install unknown apps once - that's it.

Install via APK

Easy

The standard way. Two minutes from start to finish.

  1. Tap Download APK at the bottom of this page from your Android device.
  2. Open the downloaded userinfo.lol-main.apk from your notification shade or the Files app.
  3. If Android prompts "For your security, your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source," tap Settings, toggle Allow from this source on for your browser, then go back.
  4. Tap Install. If Play Protect warns you, tap Install anyway. The app isn't malicious - Play Protect just doesn't recognize it because it isn't on the Play Store yet.
  5. Open userinfo.lol from your home screen. Done.

Updating to a new version

Easy

Each release is signed with the same key, so updates install on top of the previous one.

  1. Come back to this page when a new version drops.
  2. Download the new APK using the button below.
  3. Tap the downloaded file. Android will say "App update available" and install over the existing app, keeping your data.
